Presidents Club
Got a renewal notice for my Presidents Club membership for Camping World. First of all my membership does not expire for another four months. Why such an early notice? And second they sent me a new card which is one of those paper thin flimsy plastic cards. The one they sent me last time was a heavy plastic card, like a credit card is made of. I thought it was supposed to be a permanent card since it was made of the heavy material. But I guess not since I got the flimsy one like I usually received in years past prior to the heavy one I got last year.

If you want ease, go with the DVD. Record, pop it out of camera into dvd player and thats it. Modern version of the video tape camcorders.

RE: how long before black streaks become permanent?
I've got some that seem to be embedded into my aluminum sided TT. I've used Awesome etc. but you can still see like a shadow left from the main black streak that was there.

Desert Heat
Anybody been in the Lake Mead area in the middle of the summer? I see that it gets well over 100 degrees daily. But it's a dry heat, no humidity. Does that make it more tolerable?

Teen's Summer Job
What do you do if your teen has a summer job and has to work weekends? Do you go camping without them? I love to camp and I'm not going to stop just because my teen has a summer job. Besides, unlike when they were young, they hate to camp and hang out with mom & dad anyway.

Anybody else thought of buying a little cheap used economy car to run around town in and run errands etc., and not drive your pickup truck around as much? Boy I sure have when it costs over $75 to fill up. And I still had a 1/4 of a tank!
